I don't know where it's made, but it says "Toscana" on the back side of the band nor do I know what type of "leather" it is because it doesn't say. And since it's still new I don't really know the true quality of it until I've had it for a while. These are great replacements for Swiss Army watch bands (which would cost you more than double).
