 Fits Polar S810 - Installation instructions wrong Apr 09, 2012

Sizing is correct although it's a tight fit for watches needing 16-17mm band. Installation instructions are wrong - spring bars must be removed in order to install watch. Watch is installed on elastic material sewn on top of the watch band. Seems durable, no idea how long it will last but reviews for other colors of the band have been good. Nice option for older Polar HRM as Polar plastic bands tend to have a short lifespan.

Bought this band for Timex Ironman 100-Lap ITEM # - T5E2419J. Band length is 10 inches long, 15/16 wide. The band that watch attaches to is 21 mm wide.
This strap is longer than stock strap. But, some length is used up in wrapping around the loop. So, if your looking for a longer band to fit a bigger wrist this is not the band for you.
The band that watch attaches to is too wide for the watch I bought it for, although it will fit if squeezed. Looks bad, like it's not meant for it.
Now that I think about it. I could have gone to a craft or art supply store and bought Velcro strap and made my own at any length. Now there's a tip for the potential buyer.

I work in an industrial / electrical maintenance environment. I originally purchased my Ironman watch because I felt the combination of a plastic watch with a cloth band might be a little safer, being non-conductive. So far it has worked out well. The band that came with the watch lasted a little over two years. This replacement band was purchased last January. It is now May ( 4 months later ). The Velcro is getting so worn out that it barely keeps itself together. I have no complaints about fit as it fits my watch well and also fits my wrist well. I just wish the Velcro would have lasted longer. Perhaps these replacements are made in a different factory than the originals. I would not buy one of these again.
